I've played the game often in multiplayer and it really is a lot of fun especially when doing the team attacks including four player piledrivers. The Revenge of Death Adder was an awesome sequel to the original game and it was very disappointing to many that it has never seen a home release. Perhaps the magic attacks aren't quite as impressive as in previous games though. As well as having the ability to block and double jump, there are a surprising number of moves in the game including special moves and team moves. Not many 16-bit side scrollers give you a choice of different routes. The third game is quite underrated I think. I always found the final boss very tough to beat. Golden Axe II has some memorable music especially ' Ravaged Village' and ' Tower'. I also really enjoyed the two Mega Drive sequels. Later I had the excellent Mega Drive version which was fairly close to the arcade original. The animation was choppy and there was only one character but I put many hours into it and loved it. The first one I played was the Master System version. I've been a fan of the series for many years.
